Technical Director/Teaching Artist Full-time/seasonal

Responsible for tekking 4 summer camp productions while teaching students the basics of scene painting, construction, sound and lights. This person will also assist and support other camps as needed.
Supervise strikes, plan and implement all set design, submit materials orders.
This person will be in charge of Technical Tract campers 7th-12th grade.
Responsible for: Set design, painting, and building for all theatre camp productions as well as props.  The Technical Director will also be in charge of sound and lighting design and instruction of students.
A successful applicant must also be able to teach younger campers how to build/paint/hang lights/run sound and light/create props/etc. and serve as a role model. There are no more than 5 students to supervise at one time.
Work with Directors of Theatre Camp. Emphasize Clean-up and Organization to students.
Hours are 8-4:30.
price range for Full-time Seasonal position = $2500-$3500
June 1-August 11, 2023.

WORK STUDY PROGRAM

Many students enjoy camps, classes and workshops but are ineligible for financial assistance. Work Study is a great program that enables participants to volunteer work throughout the year that banks their hours toward a camp or arts opportunity to offset tuitions and fees.
