Jessica Olive Andelin Scholarship
Jessica Olive Andelin was a participant in many Presser productions and was an avid supporter of the arts. Her children engaged in the Presser programs and considered Presser their 2nd home.
The memorials garnered for the Jessica Olive Andelin Scholarship will be used annually to award a participant or participants for either summer camps, workshops or lessons.
Our approach to the Jessica Olive Andelin Scholarship is different than our “Needs Based” Scholarships:
The Jessica Olive Andelin Scholarship requires a simple essay assignment (One – Two Pages) without a Financial requirement.
We DO have a lot of students that are NOT eligible for financial aid, but whose parents cannot afford multiple camps, or have multiple children in the home, and choosing one child to participate is really no choice at all.
A one-page essay will be submitted by the applicant stating "Why I want to participate in this arts opportunity". Jessica Olive Andelin had a heart for all children that were interested in the arts, particularly for those who do not receive encouragement in the creative arts from homeScholarship Criteria·
