Sara Given is an experienced educator who is passionate about nurturing creativity in young minds. Throughout the camp, children will dive into a world of imagination and storytelling, using a beloved book as their inspiration. The activities will begin with a session where children can brainstorm and collaborate on turning the book into a script, guided by Sara’s expertise. Next, the children will get hands-on experience in creating sets and costumes. They will explore different materials and techniques, bringing the story to life with vivid colors and textures. This part of the camp encourages teamwork and problem-solving as kids work together to design and build the visual world of their movie. The camp will conclude with a mini premiere, where the children can proudly showcase their film to family and friends, celebrating their hard work and creativity.

This camp not only offers an engaging introduction to filmmaking but also helps children develop important skills such as communication, collaboration, and creative thinking, all while having fun in a supportive environment.
